Antesco launched an initiative to integrate production and distribution of baby corn and edamame, aiming to expand the use of organic fertilizers

 – On the morning of August 16, close to 100 farmers from Long Kiến, Long Điền, Hội An, Cù Lao Giêng, Nhơn Mỹ, and Chợ Mới communes (An Giang Province) took part in a conference to implement the linked production and distribution plan for baby corn and edamame during the 2025–2026 winter–spring crop.

The conference aimed at finding solutions for more sustainable farming, encouraging the use of organic fertilizers and gradually applying smart technology in the production of linked vegetables and crops. Attending the event were representatives from the An Giang Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection, local leaders, and Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Minh – General Director of Antesco.

Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Minh, General Director of Antesco, delivered a speech at the conference.

Baby corn and edamame are two key crops in the long-term production–consumption partnership between Antesco and farmers in An Giang. With the growing focus on sustainable agriculture, the use of organic fertilizers is gaining attention and being adopted more widely.

Antesco presented gifts to exemplary farmers who have collaborated with the company for many years.

According to the company’s report, in 2024, the application of organic fertilizer practices in baby corn and edamame cultivation in several localities yielded positive results: reducing costs by 15–20%, increasing productivity by nearly 10%, and improving soil quality.

In early 2025, the model was expanded across many localities in the province and received strong support from farmers.

Currently, Antesco is developing organic fertilizer products through franchising, with plans to establish a production plant to supply farmers in the partnership chain, scaling up the model and building a clean, safe agricultural value chain that meets growing market demand.

Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Minh- General Director, and Mr. Dương Mai Thanh Sơn – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Long Kiến Commune People’s Committee – signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on vegetable production development

At the conference, Antesco signed the MoU with the People’s Committee of Long Kiến Commune on the development of vegetables. Under the MoU, for the 2025–2026 winter-spring crop, both sides will coordinate to build a 1,000-hectare safe vegetable production model applying science, technology transfer, and guaranteed product consumption, with organic fertilizer supplied by Antesco.
