The People’s Committee of Chau Phu District and Antesco Hold Working Session on Establishing Production Linkages.

Mr. Vo Nguyen Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Chau Phu District Party Committee, and Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Vice Chairman of Chau Phu District People’s Committee, attended the working session.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to promote cooperation towards the establishment of production linkage.

During the working session, representatives from Antesco presented the company’s policies on production linkages and product consumption for various types of vegetables and fruit crops. In response, leaders and technical departments of Chau Phu District, along with representatives from communes and towns, engaged in discussions to explore cooperative solutions, expand consumption markets, and ensure stable market access for the district’s agricultural products.

In his remarks, Mr. Vo Nguyen Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Chau Phu District Party Committee, suggested that the District People’s Committee and administrations from communes and towns be more proactive in tapping into local strengths and key agricultural products, while providing support for farmers in building production-consumption linkages. In addition, he expressed hope that Antesco would commit to purchasing local agricultural products, ensuring the balance of interests between the enterprise and farmers, with a long-term and sustainable approach-forming a linkage model among farmers, enterprises, the government, and more.

On this occasion, leaders of Chau Phu District People’s Committee and representatives of Antesco signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation toward production linkages and ensure stable market access for local agricultural products.
