An Giang Has Two Products Recognized as Outstanding OCOP Products of the Mekong Delta Region in 2024

(TUAG) On the evening of October 3, at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Mekong Delta OCOP Products Connectivity Forum (held in Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province), the organizing committee evaluated 53 products from the region and selected 23 products for awards.

Among the winners, An Giang Province had two products recognized as Outstanding OCOP Products of the Mekong Delta 2024. These include: Steam Fermented Linh Fish Paste, produced by An Giang Fruit-Vegetables and Foodstuff Joint Stock Company (Antesco) in Long Xuyen City, and Palmyra Palm Sugar Powder, produced by Palmania Joint Stock Company in Tri Ton Town, Tri Ton District.

On this occasion, Mr. Ngo Truong Son, Chief of the Central Coordination Office for New Rural Development, on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, presented the emulation flag to An Giang Province to host the “2025 Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connectivity Forum”. Mr. Tran Thanh Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang, received the flag on behalf of the host unit.

The Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connectivity Forum is a major and significant regional event. It serves as a platform for connection, exchange, and collaboration in the production, promotion, and commercialization of OCOP products across the region. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for consumers and distribution businesses to access, experience, and trade OCOP products domestically and internationally.
